Membership Categories
Industry. The Industry member category is open to any for-profit or non-profit life sciences/biotechnology, information & communication technologies, defense/dual-use, sustainable technologies/energy, marine biotech, device, healthcare, medical technology, clinical trials, environmental, agriculture or aquaculture organization, or other science and technology related company with employees in the state of Hawaii.
Affiliate/Service. An Affiliate/Service membership is open to any for-profit organization that provides products and/or services to science and technology industries. Examples include banks, accounting, law, staffing and consulting firms, as well as software providers, venture capital and developer/land owners.
Non-Profit Organization. Memberships for non-profit organizations are open to any educational, governmental or other organization that conducts education, research, provides research grants, patent licensing or other products or services to IT/telecom, defense/dual-use, energy, biotechnology, life science, healthcare or related companies.
Out-of-State/International. Out-of-state & international memberships are open to any company that is based and/or incorporated outside of Hawaii and maintains no employees in the state.
Individual. Memberships are available for individuals who are not directly or indirectly affiliated by occupation with the science & tech industries. Teachers, students, retirees or other individuals who are not employed by an organization that falls under any of the other membership categories are encouraged to join.
